Well the fact is, mummy can't stand me being so "pinchable" and has to squeeze and pinch me for the fun of it.

I saw this comment made by a mummy on facebook...
"I believe babies can see angels"
Somehow this inspired me to think that this is true...babies smile to themselves, in their sleep , and when they focused so intently upon a spot and then smile widely or even chuckle. It may sound scary. But the imagination does sound very sweet and nice too.
My MIL told me that in some instances where babies smile at a spot or sleeping, its sometimes cos there is this angel playing with them that we can't see. Is it really an angel? I wonder. But if baby is smiling so happily it must be something really good.
But what if it is the other end of the scale? Babies cry means they see devil?
Haha, i hope not!
Anyway kyan loves to chuckle alot now. I just love seeing his smile every day =)
Poor baby suddenly screamed and cried so loudly in the middle of the night, on top of it he has been making alot of sounds like cries which seem to suggest he was trumatised (to mummy that is)....guess its due to the after effects of the horrible jab?! Sighz...
I'm thinking whether to let kyan take the pneumoccocal jab too...really heartpain to see him get poked so many times but what to do? sighz...
Anyway thank goodness this morning he was happily "talking", making coo-coo sounds and playing with his mobile friends after his bath when we put him back in the cot.....listen to his loud shout at the end....hehe...
Kyan has hit the two month mark yesterday...and so was the time to take his first dose of 6-in-1 jab today.
With that and the oral rotavirus vaccination which we opted to take at Kidslink was enough for Kyan's cries to fill the whole clinic...poor boy cried so badly till he really teared. No joke. This time it was real. My mum always said naughty boy fakes his cries just to gain attention since no tears were seen. But this time round it did. And yeah, sometimes he really cried really hard with tears spotted in his eyes.
Now mummy is getting paranoid as she is checking him every now and then using the thermometer just to monitor whether he has fever from the jab. Hope not....geez....
He now weighs only 4.8kg...which i thought was pretty light...but Dr Vanessa Tan says he is doing good since he is already a lighter weight baby when he was born...comparing to himself, he has gained about 1.2kg per month since the last check. The normal weighing scale should be a gain of 500g to 1kg per month. Hence kyan is definitely doing well.
And yea, we notice little kyan smiling and making those cute baby sounds more these few days...really melt our hearts just to see him smile. Its really cute....and he seems to know how to "talk" and respond to us (with his baby language of cos)...
I'm sure he will start to toss and turn few weeks more to come. And oh, mummy is going back to work in less than a month's time. She will miss kyan very much....but is comforted to know that he will be in good hands as he's taken care of by granny. Little kyan better not bully granny or mummy/daddy will spank your buttocks =P
Kyan's godmummy, Joanna gave birth to my godson, little Nigel today! At long last! It has been a long and difficult wait for her...and that she has been counting and looking forward to this day since it has not been an easy pregnancy for her.
Well done Jo! And all the best as you reach the next stage....moo-moo career! We shall encourage each other on the path onwards.....motherhood is a loooooooooooonnnnnnggggggg way...jia you to us!
A smile a day chases the blues away!
Grandma was talking and playing with me, so i responded with my own baby language and a wonderful bright smile.... =D =D :-D :-D
Hope i put a smile on everyone else's faces too =D
And may i have a lollipop pretty please? *tock tock tock*...instead of people "tocking" to play with me i shall do the job first.... just cos i'm smart! :P
Look mummy! I can lift my head up now....or at least trying to...mummy still holds on to my head as i do so for fear that my head is not stable yet. But in fact i'm pretty strong now...mummy had to put in extra effort to hold me well.
Here mummy is trying to burp me by placing my head over her shoulder. But i didn't give her an easy job cos i want to lift my head and refused to let her do so. See! I am currently 6 weeks old but i can lift my head le! I'm so proud of myself...tee hee...
